п»їLesson 5: Live versus Hatched
Big Ideas of the Lesson
A few animals happen to be born alive.
Some animals hatch coming from eggs.
Mothers take care of all their babies when they are little.
Many baby family pets cannot take care of themselves.
This lesson is targeted on identifying just how animals are born. Kids read a book and watch videos about your life cycles and animal moms. They make a chart of animals that hatch via eggs and animals which have been born surviving.
