Summary

Childhood obesity can be described as serious interpersonal problem that we face. Our company is responsible for teaching our children appropriate behaviors to interact with the earth as well as to immediate their own lives. When we tend not to teach our children the appropriate abilities, they are not able to make healthier, safe choices for themselves. The key to dealing with this interpersonal issues lies in teaching our kids at an early age the value of good ways of eating, then pursuing that meaning up with our actions simply by showing all of them what good habits happen to be and rehearsing them.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), there has been a dramatic increase in obesity in the us in the past 20 years. " In 2008, just one state (Colorado) had a prevalence of overweight less than twenty percent. Thirty-two states had a frequency equal to or perhaps greater than 25%; six of these states (Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tn, and Western world Virginia ) had a frequency of overweight equal to or perhaps greater than 30%. ” 1 This mind boggling trend simply proves to emphasize that American are not responding to the issues had to combat this matter. Nutrition patterns are discovered and practiced when we are small. Think returning to when you were a kid. There have been certain foods that were always throughout the house for you to munch on. Had been these foods more fresh vegetables and fruits, or had been they cookies and poker chips?
